Class Not found

If some class is not being found, check these things:

  • Make sure you're using your platforms classpath separator. ':' in Unix, and ';' in Windows.

    Windows: java -cp ./lib/pounder.jar;./build com.mtp.pounder.PounderFrame
    Unix: java -cp ./lib/pounder.jar:./build com.mtp.pounder.PounderFrame

  • Make sure previous versions of Pounder are not lying around in your classpath.
  • Pounder should not be installed in your /jre/lib/ext/ directory. Remove it if it has been.
  • If your classes are not being found, make sure they were in the classpath when you launched Pounder.
  • If classes are not loading dynamically, make sure they are not in a jar. Pounder only dynamically detects classes that are stored as individual .class files.
